"A figure from a fantasy circus expressing the balance of life, spirit and time. I create a unique balancing pole for each sculpture which is cast through the lost-wax or in this case, the lost sapling-technique.

The things in life that mean the
most must be continually balanced to give the act, work or the people you love their undivided attention. I have found the demands of a creative life continually require a special-new balance that is constantly in flux and turmoil.

The nature symbolism in the sculpture, the fish and sapling, portray the joy and freedom realized from following your life's natural path."
