The
Girl In The Red Dress Bronze Sculpture My final Art about Art work — perhaps. This young girl with a particularly rich patina . was inspired bya painting by Ammi Phillip's entitled "Girl in a Red Dress With Cat and Dog", circa 1830. Her compelling folk art vision seemed like a good departure point for my sculpting style. And of course, the cat in the work brought to mind a beloved pet from my past. Claudia Cohen |
